Susan Boyle's Got Talent

So first, I am baking a cake, and taking pictures all the way. It's for my class tonight. I tried to make one last night, but it broke and I had to skip school today to try again with a different recipe.

Also, I was in a very short zombie film on Friday produced by a friend of a friend. From what I gathered, it was kind of a cross between Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield.

So, be on the lookout for some pictures up soon.

To offer some substance with this post, I want to share this video which made me cry. taxidermied pointed it out, and my response (my exact comment to his post) was:
"At first I was like, "what the hell has Roman so worked up over an American Idol video?" and then she came on, and I was intrigued. I can't believe he gave her a good vote! I can't believe her courage!! I cried :)
Whether she wins from here or not, she's definitely famous now. A million doors have opened the second she opened her mouth to sing.
I love her."

Check it out here. It's remarkable.
It's gotten 5 and a half million views since Saturday.

I just watched it from Roman's post. Totally cried. Sob!

I don't know how it works on the ...got talent shows but on the idol shows, contestants have to submit a video and go through at least one other (I think maybe two other) auditions before they even get to the judges, and therefore on TV. They only show the hilarious losers and the awesome singers. So that makes me wonder how many other Susan Boyles got knocked down at the first hurdle because they didn't look like a pop star.

But, yeah. She's totally won. I almost don't want her to have the inevitable makeover. But then I also quite want her to sort out her eyebrows.

They're giving her a makeover? Booooo! Well...
The eyebrows are a must, or a 'please do!' but she's otherwise just fine as she is, I think.

Not that I know of, but the makeover is inevitable, surely.

I actually kind of loved what she was wearing, though.

Me too :)
She reminded me of my gran from Scotland.

Oh wow...
I absolutely love this woman for her courage! I hope it is all real, because it she has so much shown people that there is more there than looks and age!

I thought for sure she'd get a bad mark from Simon (the last judge) because he is SO awful to people usually, and is very much into aesthetics.
