Went to Sullivan's to drop my bow off for a re-hairing (expecting to pick it up on the way home from work tomorrow). Sullivan took one look at it and said, "YIKES. You're better off getting a new bow! [talked about it being the crappiest he's ever seen, in more professional terms] Re-hairing will cost $55, and a new fiberglass bow will only cost you $50. I'll be right back."

And he comes back with a chic black bow with new hair and it was beautiful! Also turned out to be $45 instead, so... HOORAY! I gave a quick draw across my strings when I got home tonight (can't really play now - sleeping neighbours), and it sounds LOVELY. Oh my crap, what a difference!!!

Now I can use the old bow for what probably destroyed it to begin with - playing the musical saw.

And really quickly, in other news:

~Finished the Luis Riel autobio comic today. Really good read about an important part of my ancestors' history.
~Made a skirt and taught Meagan a few things about sewing with a machine. Photo soon - meant to continue the 'look-book' but haven't worn enough new outfits yet.
~Meeting with people every day this week to deliver stuff picked off of Buy Fawn's Stuff.
~Party this weekend.
~Boston next weekend (with pax_athena)!!
~OCHO the weekend after.
~Hopefully violin lessons will start up again in a couple weeks, too.

And while there's 4 minutes left in today: Happy birthday Wil Wheaton. Shut up, Wesley.
