Thunderbirds

For a few moments this morning, I thought, "man, that's some roaring thunder. Where's the rain?" And I thought this because all this week, we've been getting rained on like crazy, which is SO relaxing to listen to and watch (the rain barely touches my patio, so I can go outside and watch the rain :).

Then I remembered, wait... the air show. But it isn't til this weekend. So I checked the site to make sure it was this weekend. Surely, it still is. But that doesn't mean they don't have to practice, as I found out as a couple of these guys shot pass my window! So I ran out to watch them practice. It was so exciting to see them so close and be so damn loud!

I'm totally excited to go find a nice spot where I can see the show on Saturday :)

In Webster it *was* thunder.

But then I was at the tat parlor all day and heard it several time as well. We thought it was thunder too, until someone mentioned practice runs for the show.
Yeah. Me smart.

It was thunder after the run today... they blended right in with each other :)
But not nearly as much thunder. I want more.
How's the parlor going for you?

Woah, I've seen them back in San Diego. And the show is really cool (even though ther is this voice in my head saying "military" and "environment protection" and all the sensible stuff, but I decided to ignore for this one day )...
I hope you'll be able to see them!

I've just discovered that I'll be seeing them alone, since Boyfriend forgot he'd made plans to go out with his family that day (tomorrow). But I know all the coolest hang-outs for catching the show free, anyway ;)
