My cousin runs an event production business, and she gave me a half-price deal on a table for her next one, Village Market Days, held in Newark (NY). For anyone local, it's being held during the St. Michael's Festival at 320 S. Main on the 13th and 14th of June. It's just a craft show. Jess gave me a half-priced table because I told her I was flat broke (usually not true, but this month, after the TCAF trip, gruesomely true). $55 is not a good price for a craft show in a small town. Last small-town fair I did gave me a whopping one dollar-fifty in sales.

But at $25 for 2 days, indoors, with a table and two chairs, I couldn't refuse. Apparently, they're strapped for vendors, too, because they're still pushing to fill slots. I'm sincerely hoping I'll at least make my table fee back. Last show I did - a Wicked convention - I not only made back table, but also my whole hotel stay PLUS extra! But this is no Wicked, and I'm selling Steampunk & macabre wares to a small hick town. Their selling-point is a live kangaroo though, so I hope it'll attract a good crowd.

Anyway, here is what my setup looked like at Voltaire's Wicked. I'll be selling much of the same stuff (if I have the supplies to replace sold items). I'll be making more fascinators, since those were an eye-catcher (and many sold on the last hour of Wicked).

Ooh, I love the cameo brooches on the fascinators. The flowers with skulls are really nice too.
